The mission of AWMA is to utilize our skills and experience in the art of healing to provide our patients with a balanced, energized but relaxed body, mind and spirit.
AWMA is to provide treatment of as many members of our community with strategies and modalities for wellness that are not available in regular doctor’s offices.
Diane Milhan, L.Ac., DAOM, DPT
Dr. Milhan has a background in physical medicine that encompasses and integrates Eastern (Oriental) and Western (biomedicine). Mr. Milhan has a doctorate in physical therapy and has been practicing physical therapy since 1985. She has a doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental medicine and has been practicing acupuncture since 2000. Dr. Milhan graduated from TriState College of Acupuncture in New York City and from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She has been board certified by the NCCAOM for over twenty years. She has held an NCC certification in Ambulatory Women’s Health Care as an RN. She has completed training as a lymphedema therapist in 2006 and was director of Education for the Monmouth Ocean Regional Perimaatal center in New Jersey.
Dr. Milhan integrates Eastern and Western medicine in the care and treatment of patients with pain, cancer, women, issue and musculoskeletal; issues. Dr. Milhan uses a combination of acupuncture styles and techniques chosen to meet a patient’s unique needs and constututiuon.
